ABOUT US

DRGHT MEANING

DRGHT is a collective for all which aims to promote a sense of inclusivity & family, brewed locally in Aotearoa.

Our goal is to create a platform that encourages ambitious creatives to challenge the status quo and shine in their field. The outlet of art on apparel is just one aspect of our platform and we're eager to expand even further in the future.

WHY WE STARTED

We share the same drive and aspire to create something that will leave a mark.

Our friendship formed when we started our new job, on the same day, at Studio One. Building a brand together was a breeze and way easier than selling shoes, as Tayden is a skilled artist, and Sean can speak English, not to mention hanging out was always a plus. We both appreciate new friends and connections and believe we can create an even bigger whanau through our brand.

Join us on our journey and enjoy the come up

TAYDEN

22, of Samoan & Māori Descent. Born in West Auckland, raised in Hawke's Bay *

Crafting something to leave a mark has always been an ambition. I've been doing art in multi media since I was a kid, and now having the ability to express that through clothing is something special.

In a space that feels limited, creating a platform to uplift our own and break boundaries is key to what DRGHT means.

SEAN

21, of Filipino & Irish Descent. Born in Lower Hutt, raised in Upper Hutt *

I attended St Patricks College, Silverstream and now study a Bachelor of Commerce at Victoria University, also working a part-time role at Studio One, Wellington.

I have always been drawn to Streetwear and Fashion, and being able to create something that originated from Aotearoa that becomes well known has been a dream of mine.
